Moon Jelly is bursting with excitement having completed our biggest production ever, crafting 41 total videos over the course of the Stonewall 50 WorldPride campaign. Together with NYC Pride, we captured millions of moments, told powerful stories and progressed the movement by featuring diverse voices and diving deep into the multidimensionality of what NYC Pride has to offer. It has, and continues to be, a true honor and privilege to support the LGBTQIA+ community through video.
The campaign went on to win big - a prestigious ADC cube award, and a New York Festivals Advertising award!

Stonewall 50 WorldPride Opening Ceremony Concert
Campaign TWO
The first WorldPride in the United States, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, kicked off on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, with an opening ceremony benefit concert hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, featuring such entertainers as Cyndi Lauper, Billy Porter, Daya, Ciara, Chaka Khan, Alyssa Edwards, and many more. Proceeds from the ticket sales went to support several community partners: Ali Forney Center, Immigration Equality, and SAGE – three leading organizations in the LGBTQIA+ movement based in New York City. The content generated public awareness of NYC Pride's community involvement with other NGO partners, contextualizing NYC Pride's instrumental part in building up to and supporting this unique moment in the history of human rights. The videos played throughout the packed stadium at Barclay's Center, and later went on to be published online across NYC Pride's social media as well as each of the donee's websites. Stonewall 50 | WorldPride 2019 was the largest LGBTQIA+ event in history. Over 5 million attendees descended on New York City to celebrate and honor the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. There were over 25 official events in the last two weeks of June that included the WorldPride Opening Ceremony at the Barclays Center.

50 Murals by 50 artists; both members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. The first initiative of its kind. NYC Pride partnered with Moon Jelly Studios and the art collective LISA Project NYC to use art as activism and emphasize the importance of visibility.
